400, 500, 600, 601E 802.3ad LAG.

Does anyone know if the following FortiGate model supports 802.3ad LAG and LACP? My switches do support LACP and would like to avoid non-LACP aggregation.

Thank you,

This is documented in the Feature Matrix on docs.fortinet.com:

Features depend on the OS version. The link above is for FOS v6.0.2.

Sometimes not all features are supported from the first major version on, like for example LACP on the desktop models with internal SSD (61E, 81E,...). When they are added you will find a notice in the Release Notes. And some time later the Feature Matrix is updated.

They should. Even 400A supported it (https://kb.fortinet.com/kb/documentLink.do?externalID=FD30542). You should be able to test it easily before putting actual traffic on.

I was waiting for this feature for 80E for a long time, but since FortiOS 6.2 this is available. -

I have a pair of 80E in HA and FortiSwitches in managed fortilink and I can create an aggretate link (LACP 802.3ad).

Kind regards,

Adi
