Hello Ranjith,

There are two ways to discover the SD-WAN interface in FortiMonitor.

1. You can either add the FortiGate via SNMP[1].

2. Or you can add the FortiGate via Fabric connection[2].

In both scenarios, the FortiMonitor platform will display the SD-WAN interface as a metric on the instance as well as under the performance section.

Dear Rahul,

Currently, we are using SNMP v3 in Fortimonitor. moreover, we have discovered the all SD-wan interface in Fortimonitor. And We will change any interface name or IP at the device level we have to try to rediscover in fortimonitor. When we try rediscovering it's not happening in fortimonitor.

Hello Ranjith,

Thank you for your message. I would kindly request you to create a support ticket to further investigate the issue.

While creating the ticket you would require FortiMonitor's serial number, which can be found by following the below steps:

Click on the avatar (in the top right corner) --> My FortiMonitor Account --> Fortinet Serial Number.

Thank you,

Rahul
