new Firmware version of 311B fortigate firewall

Hi all,

Current our 311B fortigate's firmware version is v4.0.

Why I can't download new firmware version of 311B fortigate firewall. When I try it gives an error that "Sorry, you don't have any product covered by Fortinet support contract."

Is there any idea why I can not download the latest firmware version v.5 or later?

Hello,

 

you can download all the FortiOS images on the Fortinet Support site: https://support.fortinet.com

You need a valid account to connect to the site

I think you just created an account and your device is not registered.

I have the same error, I ensure has registered the product in my account ,But I have not allow to download the firmware ,Why?

You need to have a valid support contract as well as an account. An account alone is not enough.

yes exactly  - you have to have an account with at least one device registered that has a valid support (i.e. FortiCare(tm) ) contract bound to it. Then the download area will be available and you can dl any firmware image.
