I was cleaning out my junk box this weekend and I realized I have an old FortiAnalyzer 100C. Everything works and it's been upgraded to the latest FortiOS code available. Unfortunately, I'm running a Forgate 61E running a later version of code so there are compatibility issues.
I can send standard Syslog from my FTG to FAZ but it's severely limited as to what I can do with the data.
Other than gutting it and using the chassis for a RaspberryPi NAS, I can't think of anything else to use it for.
Any ideas or thoughts on how how to use it?
