The SSH Java applet fails to connect to any of our CISCO network devices (switches et al).
They (Cisco) have deprecated 'hmac-md5' and now only accept 'hmac-sha1,hmac-sha1-96' for SSLv2
in newer operating systems.
If I drop the SSH to v1 on the devices the SSH applet connects fine but this is not acceptable under our security policy.
Is there an alternative to the SSH Java applet, maybe using port-forwarded applications?
