Receiving Attachment Size
Hello I am beginner and esto need of a helping hand I fotimail 200D utiliso as gateway and I'm having trouble receiving attachment larger qeu 10 MB. ever seen that by default it accepts a maximum of 10 MB. I configured in SMTP, and the session profile and profile content to receive 30 mb and also create a policy for this. and yet it still does not receive.

what does the log entry say when you try to send a large attachment?
you have to set your limit 33% larger than you really want because of MIME encoding. This is true for all email solutions because SMTP uses MIME encoding no matter the email system vendor.

Hello yes is specified 30 megs (30720) looks at the return
elivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

assuming you're running gateway/transparent mode, look under domain definition
If your email traffic doesn't match your defined session profile, this setting rules.

Hi,
If your mail server size limit is 10MB, then fortimail it's not the component blocking your 30MB emails.
To solve the issue, adjust server and fortimail settings accordingly

Abelio was Fortmail even in policy ip mudeio as I posted this funciomando and now I have another difficulty making only a few receive the largest email 10 mb. I still do not know how to do .

Hello friends thought the solution IP policy was pointing straight srevidor of the exchange after I have changed to 0.0.0.0/0 destination ip passed him to enter email
