RPS - LOSt Showing

Hi Team,

 

I am was checking in CLI command in fortinet 100E the following below command.

 

#Execute Sensor list

and its showing me RPS -LOst what does it mean ?

1 PSU OK
2 RPS LOST
3 FAN 1 CPU Fan1 Speed 8232 RPM
4 FAN 2 CPU Fan2 Speed 8599 RPM
5 TMP 1 External thermal sensor 38.38 C

Hi,
RPS stands for the Redundant Power Supply.
Fortigate 100E has a DC input along with the AC input.

Basically, you have power on the Fortigate using AC(via main PSU) and DC(via RPS) in order to have a redundant power supply.

 

When it comes to "RPS LOST" messages, that simply means that the Fortigate is not powered via RPS which is I believe is your case.
