Fortips Driver Problem with FortiClient 64bits

Hello, I have installed FortiCLient 4.2.5 in a Windows 7 PC and when I try to connect the VPN it shows an error " Fortips driver cannot start" , has it happend to someone else? does anybody know what might be the cause or has solved this problem? Thanks

Hi Joru, Did you have any old version (v3.8 or earlier) of FCT installed on your PC before? We ran into the issue when did an upgrade from FCT3.0 MR8 and Fortinet is aware of this issue and it will be addressed in FCT 4.2.6. For fresh install or upgrade from earlier versions of 4.x, we don' t have the issue. Regards, L.C

Hi Clarke, Well this might be the case although not entirely sure, for now FortiClient has been uninstalled in that particular PC but thanks I' ll keep that in mind for similar cases. Regards
