Forticlient EMS Server 7.x with 6.4.x forticlient AV's

I was wondering if it is possible to license Forticlient AV's of version 6.4.x with a version 7.x EMS server?

currently have a 6.4.3 EMS server but wish to upgrade it to the latest version but all our AV's are still 6.4.6, so want to make sure there won't be any licensing issues. Plan is to upgrade the AV's as well but have to make sure that AV's who haven't been updated still retain their license.

Hi ardy,

EMS 7.0.x can still manage FCT 6.4.x.

AV database are updated automatically when FCT is licensed. Hence as long as FCT is joined to EMS, it will get the license and able to update AV database.
