Ok, so far so good. No real problems found just some cosmetic but i have to find out if that is caused by me or the firmware ;) I do like the new interface but some things are hard to find when you are used to 4.2.x.. [edit] Ok, don' t use this version. All my FortiGates have lost their section view with the firewall policy' s and since you are not able to create policy packages and you cannot add / change firewall policy' s in the FortiManager the FortiManager has no Value.. Waiting for the next update since i don' t see any reason why someone would use this. [/edit]

You have to import the policys from the fortigate into a " policy package" then you can view/edit the policys.

i found out that IE9 doesnt work, You right click on the policy ID, to the left of the policy, that gives you a menu. Use IE8 or Firefox

Upgraded to MR3 patch 2 yesterday. On the device manager tab, i cannot expand my group list to see the properties of my devices. When I click on the + sign to expand any group list, the list automatically collapses 1-2 seconds later. I' ve tried 3 different browsers (IE8, IE9, Chrome, and Firefox 6 & 8), all with the same results. This makes it impossible to manage the devices.

I tried it on FORTIMANAGER 3000 and then again added couple of FGT' s. On a FG3810A i have 6 Vdoms with Redundant Interfaces. FORTIMANAGER tried to import the configuration and went till ZONE-MAP. On Zone-Map it gave error and then configuration import was hang. Again re-tried the same process but still it hang. Then checked the known bug list and they listed known bug - Any existing zones should be removed from a FortiGate' s VDOM before importing policies and objects. Otherwise, FortiManager may prompt Web Error 500 during an import. Now i am thinking what is the use of Such FORTIOS (FORTIMANAGER OS) with bugs which will not work as per functionality specified. It was good with FortiOS 4.2 and same OS on fortimanager. Just to use the geographical blocking & web-filtering in Flow-mode, we had to upgrade the FW on 4.0 MR3 Patch1, Patch2 and now Patch3. I hope fortinet does provides some patch fixing atleast for base functionality of FORTIMANAGER. Rgds, Abhay

I must say its totally useless, I tried to do a little change on a FG100A running MR2 Patch7 (change name of a address) It wiped my SSL tunnel policys, 2 LDAP servers and disconnected my two FortiAPs. so there is no way i can trust the 4.3.2....
