FG200B and FortiOS 5.x - feedback?

I am worried that upgrading my FG200B to FortiOS 5.x will slow it down. Does anyone else have a FG200B running 5.x or 5.0.6? What is average memory and CPU load? How many users do you have? What UTM features do you use? I have AV/Web/IPS for about 500 users memory at 50% ...power outage must post quickly.

If you don' t really need any of the v5 features I would keep it at 4.3... Actually I would upgrade from your 4.3.14 to 4.3.15 br, Roman

I am in the same boat as Paul; FG200B, running v4.3.14, very stable, about 120 users, memory at 60% after nearly 2 months of uptime. I looked at the 4.3.15 release notes, but nothing much there which interested me, so I decided to wait. If it ain' t broke, don' t fix it policy. But I am still interested in others experiences with FG200B and v5.0.x firmware.

Running actual 5.06 on one cluster and two other 200B. Since 5.06 the the memory is much lower (with 5.05 and 5.04 we had sometimes memory issues). But now there are the policy counters gone.

So you have 5.0.6 running on multiple FG200B units and so far memory usage is better than with 5.0.5. What is the current memory/cpu usage? How many users and what UTM features in use?

Thanks everyone for the feedback. It has been helpful. 65% memory use doesn' t sound very good. Is conserve mode at 70% or 80%. Or is it 80%, but doesn' t exit conserve until you get below 70% ?

Been running 5.0.5 on my 200B for 2 weeks, no issues. Around 180 users. Memory usage 30-40% depending on time of day. I upgrade for two reason. First, I wanted some of the Device Management features. Second, later this year Fortinet will not support v4 on the 200B, and I just renewed my subscription.
