Checkpoint Radius custom Dictionary

Hi guys,

We want to use Fortiauth for Radius login to a checkpoint firewall. Does anyone have a copy of the known attributes or dictionary file to use in Fortiauth?

Or does anyone know the syntaxt of the dictionary file to be used?

Hi flamer,

your questions are more suitable on Checkpoint support/forum.

I'm sorry but this is Fortinet products forum and I'm not that familiar with Checkpoint, but I guess that big brother Google might know the answer.

I did quick check and the Checkpoint is not directly supported in FortiAuthenticator.

Maybe Checkpoint is not even using their own dictionary but utilize the general one which is supposed to be supported by any NAS and RADIUS servers, which would cause less headaches with interoperability issues.

Just for reference .. Fortinet Dictionary can be found here:

OP, if you have the dictionary  file you can up load it as  Radius custom dictionary in the  FortiAuthenticator. You can extract any attribute regardless if the device is fortinet's or another, and use  various dictionaries

reference the  FortAuth  operation_guide for your version or release notes

e.g

v.5.0

( custom dictionary on page 11)
