migrated my (old) fw50b to Fg60c and connected to the FAZ and FM. Works like a charm (so far) Cheers, Eric

Woop! Glad to see this. I was about to deploy my first 60C into production on Monday. I will look at upgrading.

I have upgraded and it works fairly well overall. The web interface is much faster, and there is disk management added and the SQL reporting. I think that when it converted my old logfiles (going back to late August), it ate some of them, because I only have the new SQL logging going back about a week. Question: For each protection profile I had for UTM before, a rule for each type (e.g., Email Filter or Web Filter) was placed into each UTM type and firewall rule upon upgrade. In my case I have a UTM profiles now that contain nothing (e.g., Email Filter), but I cannot figure out how to delete them. I have deleted every possible reference to these in the firewall, yet no delete option is offered to me. I am searching the CLI, but even there I can' t figure out how to remove a profile. Can somebody help?

I figured out the problem. The migration from MR1 to MR2 leaves the grouped protection profiles in place, but there is no way to see these from the web interface. I finally figured this out by downloading the config file and searching through it. I went ' config firewall profile-group' and then I deleted each one (delete <profile name>). They deleted without any errors, and now I can delete individual UTM profiles from the web interface. Four hours of my life I' m never going to get back!

I keep looking for the firmware updates and have missed this pdf file with relation the 60C in the MR2 directory 2.13 Wireless Controller Feature Support FortiGate-60C and FortiWiFi-60C currently does not support ' Wireless Controller Feature' in FortiOS v4.0 MR2. This feature will be introduced in FortiOS v4.0 MR3.

I missed that too. I' m REALLY, REALLY glad I bought Cisco AP' s instead of Fortinet ones last August!

Are you? With cisco ap' s you need to buy a separate WLC. So you introduce a second vendor, have to integrate logging and management. Big bang for your buck.
