Description This article describes the OOIDs to add in the SNMP manager in order to Monitor CPU and Memory utilization of WAF.
Scope FortiWeb.
Solution

To enable SNMP in FortiWeb:

Navigate to System -> Config -> SNMP
 which will enable the FortiWeb device SNMP agent to allow queries for the Device information and to send alarms or event messages in the form of Traps to the SNMP manager.

 

Enable the traps for the SNMP events that should be Notified by FortiWeb to SNMP managers:

To get the maximum OIDs of FortiWeb, follow these steps:

 

  1. Log in to the FortiWeb appliance.
  2. Go to System -> Config -> SNMP.
  3. Select the following links to download the MIB files:
  • Download the FortiWeb MIB File.
  • Download the Fortinet Core MIB File.

  1. Once downloaded, compile these MIB files into the SNMP manager, or open the FortiWEB MIB files in an MIB browser, which can be downloaded for free from the internet.
