Description

 

This article describes how to monitor SaaS Outages for a Region hosted on the FortiAppSec Cloud SaaS Platform.

 

Scope

 

FortiAppSec Cloud.

 

Solution

 

Review of the SaaS platform is experiencing an Outage at the below URL for AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP Platforms:

https://status.fortiweb-cloud.com/


The screenshot below for the FortiAppSec Cloud SaaS service was impacted with an Outage in US East (Virginia): Major Outage.

If the application is running on US East (Virginia), Services would be impacted as the above screenshot reflects.
Change the region to US East 2 (Washington) or EU West (Netherlands) as they are operational to fix application services on the SaaS platform.


To change the region, navigate to FortiAppSec Cloud Portal -> Applications -> Edit -> Region -> Change Region, which is operational as per the URL.

 

Note:

Update DNS records accordingly after changing the region.
