Description

When NAT is enabled on a WAN link, the video/phone call may have some issues.

Scope

All firmware.

Solution

When using SIP or H323 protocol as VOIP signaling, enable the SIP and/or the H323 helper.

To do so, login to the CLI of the FortiWAN and type:

sysctl h323-helper=1
sysctl sip-helper=1

This will enable the modification of the SIP or H323 header to be inline with the NAT IP addresses.
