Solution |
After spinning up a new FortiVoice VM and restoring the config file, check on the Extension -> IP Extension does not show any extension. If looking at the other page such as Trunk, it will show the added trunk from the backup config.
Check if the previous FortiVoice is using Call Center features. If yes, check on the new FortiVoice VM for the 'License Information' in the Dashboard. Make sure the Call Center license is uploaded before restoring the config file.
This issue is usually because the Call Center license is not uploaded before restoring the config file to the new FortiVoice-VM. If the config file has been uploaded to the new FortiVoice VM, upload the Call Center license and restore the config file to solve the IP Extension not showing issue. |
