Description

This article explains how to configure the Office Peer with inbound and outbound routes automatically.

Scope

Fortivoice.

Solution

Starting from v6.4.x and later, the inbound and outbound routes for the Office Peer will be generated automatically when configuring the patterns.

So there is no need to create a separate inbound and outbound route for the Office Peer .

Follow the steps below in the Office Peer to make the inbound and outbound generated automatically:

  • Go to Trunk -> Office Peer -> Office Peer and edit or create a new one.

For Outgoing or Outbound, type the remote extension pattern in 'Outgoing digit pattern'. For example, if the remote extensions are 3 digits from 200 to 299, so it can be typed 2XX or XXX

  • For incoming or inbound, extend the 'Advanced' menu, then type the local extension pattern in 'Local/incoming digit pattern'. For example, if the local extension with 4 digits, it can be typed XXXX:
