Technical Tip: How to increase time for FortiFone initiate a call when dialing a number

Description	This article describes how to increase the time between pauses during dialing on a FortiFone before it dials the unfinished number entered.
Scope	FortiVoice.
Solution	To increase the timeout timer: Go to: Phone System -> Profile -> Phone and select the phone to modify the Digit map pause timer. If entering 3, the phone will initiate a call 3 seconds after entering the dialing number.
