Description This article describes how to configure Account Codes into a UserPrivilege (used by different extensions) to restrict International-calls.
Scope FortiVoice.
Solution
  1. Go to Security -> User Privilege -> Account Code, configure a new profile, and define the 'Code'. 

Note:

The 'Code' can be used to restrict International, Long Distance, Local, or Internal calls.

In this example, the 'Code' will be used to restrict International-calls. Enable 'Shared' to use this code on any extension.

  1. Go to Security -> User Privilege. From the section 'Call Restriction' set "Allo International call: Allowed with Account:

Select the profile previously created over the 'Account Code' field.

  1. Go to Extension -> Extension  -> IP Extension, and select the extension-id. 
  2. From the User Setting -> Management, select the User Privilege profile where call-restriction was enabled.

Note:

The FortiVoice system uses the Location settings (PhoneSystem -> Settings) to identify the prefix for:

  • LongDistance (Long-distance prefix).
  • International (International prefix).
  • Internal (Area code).
