Description

This article describes how to disable the push notification on a mobile device with a FortiIdentity Cloud deployment (formerly FortiToken Cloud).

Scope FortiToken Cloud, FortiIdentity Cloud.
Solution

Most of the time, when FortiToken is used on a mobile device, the following feature is enabled (a push notification to deny or approve the connection request):

Sometimes, the push notification needs to be disabled. To do this, follow these steps:

 

  1. Enter the FortiIdentity Cloud portal:

  1. Go to Settings -> Realm -> 'FTM Settings':

  1. Disable the button 'Enable Push':

  1. Selecting 'Apply Changes' and 'Confirm':

Now, the push notification will no longer appear on the mobile device upon trying to use the token, so it will be necessary to enter the token code manually.
