Description	This article describes how to determine the reason for a red power LED on a FortiSwitch.
Scope	FortiSwitch.
Solution	Check Power Supply Status: Execute the command ‘diagnose sys psu status’ to verify the status of both power supply units (PSUs):  diagnose sys psu status Module Status ___________________________________ PSU1 OK PSU2 Not OK To find out the root cause, follow the below steps: If PSU1 is OK and PSU2 is not OK: Swap the external power sources connected to PSU1 and PSU2. If PSU1 now reports as not OK, the issue lies with the external power source. If PSU2 continues to report as not OK, contact technical support. Note: Ensure that both external power sources are compatible with the FortiSwitch before swapping.
