Solution |
The issue is seen while upgrading from FSW GUI OR FGT GUI (Managed FSW) due to an incorrect header check, as a workaround use FortiSwitch CLI to upgrade the unit. Note that the issue is seen only when upgrading from the factory image v7.2.4_build5166 to any GA version.
Serial Console to the FS-648F will report the following:
Firmware upgrade in progress (alternate) Writing the disk......... inflate failed! (incorrect header check) Writing the disk......... inflate failed! (incorrect header check) Done(-1).
Logs from the FS-648F-FPOE will report the following:
S648F # execute log display |
