Description |
This article describes steps to fix an issue where RAID on FortiSandbox is degraded and unconfigured. |
Scope | All FortiSandbox hardware models. |
Solution |
Occasionally, the RAID status on FortiSandbox hardware shows as degraded and unconfigured. This means it cannot be used in most operations.
An example of degraded and unconfigured RAID:
# status RAID info RAID level: RAID-1 RAID status: Degraded Virtual drive size: 1861 GB Total physical disks: 2
Physical disk states: Slot: 0 Status: Unconfigured Size: 1862 GB
Slot: 1 Status: OK Size: 1862 GB
To fix the issue:
1) Try to reboot to see if RAID rebuilds automatically. 2) Reset the drive by taking it out and putting it back in (hot swapping) or replacing it with a new hard drive. 3) Perform a RAID rebuild.
