Technical Note: FortiSandbox scanning capacity usage for master unit of a cluster

Description

This article explains how to determine the percentage of the scanning capacity to be used on the master unit in FortiSandbox HA cluster.

In a FortiSandbox HA cluster, 50% of the scanning capacity is used by default on master unit.

Scope

FortiSandbox v2.1 and higher.

Solution

The scanning capacity on the master unit can be determined and modified by using the following command:

hc-master -s<10-100>

If no number follows the –s, then 50% will be used:

hc-master –s

By adding a number after the -s then the setting will be changed, for example to use 80%:

hc-master –s80
