This article describes how to fix the issue with the Approval step or any other step in the playbook that shows deprecated.

Scope

Solution

Problem statement:

The 'Approval' step in the playbook module shows deprecated and a warning message says it will not be functional in future releases.

Resolution:

Remove the step from the playbook.
Add a new step with the same name.
Save the playbook, and the warning should no longer appear.
