How to Upload a Playbook JSON File to a Community Post?

Hello Everyone,

I have some questions about a playbook I developed, but I'm having trouble uploading the playbook JSON file to the FortiSOAR community post. If anyone knows how to upload a playbook JSON file on FortiSOAR, please let me know.

Thank you!

Hi Ranjeet

To Upload a Playbook JSON File to a Community Post:

  1. Create the playbook with your desired steps.
  2. Navigate to the playbook's export option (refer to the screenshot for guidance).
  3. When prompted, select either "No, only Playbook" to export just the playbook, or "Yes, Include Versions" if you want to include version history.
  4. The playbook file will be downloaded to your machine in JSON format.
  5. In the community post, select the "browse" option and attach the downloaded playbook JSON file. ( as shown in screenshot )

This process will allow you to successfully upload your playbook to the community post.

Thank you !

Hi @Jtamboli ,

Thanks for your suggestions! However, I don’t see the “Drag and Drop Here” option as you mentioned.  I’ve attached a screenshot of my create post page for your reference.

You are right @ranjeet . It appears the system is allowing uploads only to specific people.

We will work with our community admins to determine why that is the case.
