Description This article provides steps to troubleshoot the content update error 'FDS Manager error: Invalid Copy (code=8)'.

Solution
  1. Check License details: Run the following command to verify if the FortiSIEM license includes 'Maintenance and Support' and has not expired:

phLicenseTool --show

 

  1. If the 'Maintenance and Support' part of the license has expired:
    1. Reach out to the Fortinet Sales Team or Account Manager to get 'Maintenance and Support' added or renewed.
    2. Once the License is updated, download the license file from the Fortinet Support Portal and re-upload it using the GUI from ADMIN -> License -> General -> Upload.

 

  1. If the 'Maintenance and Support' part of the license is valid:
    1. Restart the app server.

            kill -9 $(cat /opt/glassfish/domains/domain1/config/pid)

    2. Download the license file from the Fortinet Support Portal and re-upload it in the GUI from ADMIN -> License -> General -> Upload.
