Description
This article describes the error observed when trying to test NFS storage in GUI.
Solution
The test storage button on GUI allows to test the mount point and connectivity of the NFS server, which will allow to mount the NFS storage.
However, when the NFS has been mounted and the “Test” button is clicked, it will generate an error “Storage test error: Unknown error 1”.
[root@fsm02 ~]# df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/sda3 55G 9.2G 44G 18% /
tmpfs 12G 8.0K 12G 1% /dev/shm
/dev/sda1 124M 43M 76M 36% /boot
/dev/sdb1 60G 568M 56G 1% /cmdb
/dev/sdc1 60G 191M 56G 1% /svn
10.47.8.82:/data 148G 679M 140G 1% /data
Although this is misleading, but it is not an error. The “Test” button should only be used when trying to mount the storage, not after it has been mounted.
