Hi,
On FortiSIEM 7.3.2, I cannot create an SNMPv3 credential, I always get the following error: Save failed - invalid characters (`, $, >, <, &, ;, |) found
Has anyone encountered this error? What could be the problem?
Thanks,
Zoltan
By the way did you try SNMPv2? Does it have the same issue?
I know v2 is not recommended for security but just to try understand more the issue.
SNMPv2 is working without error, but it's unsafe.
The issue was resolved in version 7.4.0. It was reported under Bug ID 1150009, and the fix was implemented in Bug ID 1157351.

Awesome, thanks for the heads up
Is there a planned date for 4.0? Support promised the end of May, but that has now passed.
What product and what patch version are you waiting for?
Sorry, FortiSIEM 7.4

Hi,
released on today, BUT, the upgrade process failed:

Sorry, @rz5 , I am not familiar with FortiSIEM. You may have to work on this issue with a ticket.
