SIEM: Exception Definition

Hi guys,

I have a rule related to config changes in PAN OS and I want to define a rule that includes only user changes and make it high level, but since the scope of the first rule covers both, it hits the first one first. In this case, by defining an exception in the first rule, I said if this user is mentioned, but this time the rule did not work. How can i do?

Hi @adem_netsys ,

You are on the right path, without the actual log (with parsed information), there isn't match guidance to provide on the matter. 

As a note on the first image you provided you can utilise a composite Filter with NOT CONTAIN function to make sure you capture anything without config mgt-config users.
