We have a 7.1.3 FortiSIEM SIEM
One our clients move to Azure I gave them FortiSIEM-7.1.3-Azure_Installation_Guide.pdf installation guide and FSM_Full_All_AZURE_7.1.3_build0165.zip
The 7.1.3 doc then tells them to go to Marketplace! Marketplace only has one version currently 7.2.2!! I told told the client to install 7.1.3!
So now! my client has a collector that is 7.2.2 while we have a 7.1.3 SIEM breaking Fortinets own recommendations to stay at or below the SIEM version.
Meanwhile Fortinet then comes back and says, ' better upgrade your SIEM FSM_Full_All_AZURE_7.1.3_build0165.zip'
ANSWER: We cant upgraded a SIEM, you are asking us to drop everything and upgrade a SIEM because of one client ? Its and MSSP env the reply was very frustrating
How about reinstall a version of the collector so it doesn’t cause incompatibility issues
This is very frustrating,, Fortient tells me to use the Azure 7.1.3 full install then gives me a doc called Azure 7.1.3.pdf that then tells them to go to Marktplace knowing that the version in the doc is out matched on Market place. We can end here on this issue thanks
