Hello,

Yes you can. The preferred method is through our script :
#configFSM.sh
Follow the prompt and select change network configuration when asked . Continue to press ok until the script initializes the change. You can verify the same once logged in.
# cat /etc/resolve.conf

Hi @aebadi @Himanshu735,

I need to change the DNS, I ran this command but received the error ‘system is already licensed’ and changed it in /etc/resolve.conf but it didn't take the changes. What can we do?

Please make the change using the configFSM.sh script.

It will prompt you for the timezone and other settings — you can simply keep pressing Next until it asks you to update the network parameters. After that, continue pressing Next through the end and let the script apply the update for you.

Let me know if this doesn’t work, and I can walk you through it over a bridge call. I’ll also create a TAC ticket and publish the steps for you.

As I mentioned, I ran the configFSM.sh command and changed the DNS server, but I received a ‘system is already licensed’ error during the installation process.

Hi Adem

which options are you pressing to update the network?
when running configFSM.sh
Your supposed to press:
'OK' when the system status shows FortiSIEM insulted and system has a valid license .
'NO' Confgiure TIMEZONE
'1' Supervisor
'3' change_network_config
'Next' Select Network Int
'Next' IPV -->> this is where you update your DNS info
'Next' Host Name
'Next' Check Netowrk connectivity
'Run Script' --> This should kickoff the script that will update your DNS

let me know if you are not seeing this? If so whats your current Version  of the Fortisiem
