This article describes the process of setting a password to secure the disconnection of endpoints from the Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) telemetry connection in FortiSASE. Ensuring that a password is required to disconnect from the ZTNA telemetry connection adds an extra layer of security, preventing unauthorized disconnections and maintaining the integrity of your network's security posture
FortiSase.
Open the FortiSASE Portal Go to Configuration-> Endpoints-> Profiles and then select the respective endpoint profile. 'Endpoints can disconnect from FortiSASE' will be visible. Enable it as below. Post that password can be set up.
Before enabling 'Endpoints can disconnect from FortiSASE', the ZTNA telemetry connection on the endpoint appears as below:

When the 'Disconnect' button is selected it will prompt for a password and only after entering the correct password then only the endpoint can be disconnected from the FortiSASE.
