Description This article describes how to re-deploy the Security PoP if there are changes in the network setup related to FortiGate’s network interface and routing.
Scope FortiSASE-Sovereign, FortiGate.
Solution

Requirement:
Changes in FortiGate network interfaces, such as dual-ISP deployment or default static route priority change.

 

  1. Delete Security PoP in FortiSASE-Sovereign portal: Device -> Security PoPs > select Security PoP > select ‘Remove Selected’.

  1. Wait until deletion completes:

  1. Disable FortiSASE-Sovereign setting in FortiGate CLI console:

 

config system sov-sase

    set status disable

end

 

FortiGate will reset to factory default.

  1. Re-configure FortiGate appliance according to guidelines in FortiSASE-Sovereign deployment guide and apply necessary changes required in the deployment:
    Set Up FortiGate Appliance

     

     

  2. Re-deploy Security PoP.
