Technical Tip: Activate video motion alerts to be sent via email on FortiCamera without FortiRecorder

Description	This article describes how to activate Video motion detection alerts with snapshots to be sent via email on a FortiCamera without using a FortiRecorder.
Scope	FortiCamera.
Solution	On the FortiCamera configuration settings under Configuration -> Event -> Event settings -> Add event.   In the action tab, add server can be used, so this way the email server can be configured, once is configured save server   Once the server is added a Media has to be added, where a snapshot/video clip or system log can be used.   Once the media is added, the event can be saved:   By following the steps above emails, should be generated with motion detection snapshots.
