This article describes how to activate Video motion detection alerts with snapshots to be sent via email on a FortiCamera without using a FortiRecorder. |

| Solution |
On the FortiCamera configuration settings under Configuration -> Event -> Event settings -> Add event.
In the action tab, add server can be used, so this way the email server can be configured, once is configured save server
Once the server is added a Media has to be added, where a snapshot/video clip or system log can be used.
Once the media is added, the event can be saved:
By following the steps above emails, should be generated with motion detection snapshots. |
