Description

This article describes how to troubleshoot an issue where FortiPortal does not show FortiAnalyzer’s reports under the Organization -> Reports tab.

Generally, after adding FortiAnalyzer and navigate to FortiPortal -> Organization -> Reports, it shows 'No data available':

Scope

FortiPortal v7.

Solution

This can be due to any of the following possibilities:

  • There is no FortiManager device added.
  • There is no ADOMs & Sites created.
  • There is an ADOM name, FortiGate device name, or VDOM name mismatch between FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer.

Steps:

  1. Make sure Reports are visible under FortiPortal -> Device -> FortiAnalyzer -> Reports.

  1. Make sure FortiManager is added in FortiPortal -> Device -> FortiManager.

  1. Proceed to select the ADOM from FortiPortal -> Organizations -> Edit -> ADOMs -> select the ADOM -> Save.

Note: Make sure the ADOM name, FortiGate Device name and VDOM name are same between FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer.

  1. After a save, make sure there is no Warning message as stated below:
