Technical Tip: How to set the minimum/maximum TLS version on FortiPortal for GUI access

Description	This article describes how to set the minimum/maximum TLS version on FortiPortal for GUI access. By default, FortiPortal accepts both TLS 1.2 and TLS 1.3 for GUI access. If the connection fails on TLS 1.3 it will fall back to TLS 1.2.
Scope	FortiPortal.
Solution	If the requirement is to offer a specific TLS version, then starting from the following versions 'TLS Version' option is available: FortiPortal V7.0.8. FortiPortal V7.2.3. FortiPortal V7.4.0. This new feature is introduced on the mentioned versions under System -> Settings -> General -> TLS Versions as shown in the following screenshot: If one of the TLS versions is selected, GUI will support the selected version only. If both are selected and if the connection fails on TLS 1.3 then it will fall back to TLS 1.2.
