Description This article describes what information to provide during ticket creation when reporting a FortiPortal issue, specifically on v7.0 or v7.2.
Scope FortiPortal v7.0, v7.2.
Solution

Refer to the following steps to collect this information:

  1. Debug log files from the GUI:
    Go to System -> Settings -> General -> System logs and select ‘Export’.

Alternatively, the following command can be used to collect debug logs from the CLI:

 

execute log-debug-print

 

  1. Collect the HAR file and screen recording as described in Technical Tip: FortiPortal information to collect when a ticket is raised.

 

  1. Create a local user with an 'Admin' profile on FortiPrivateCloud and provide the backup configuration from FortiPrivateCloud.

Create a Local User: Go to System -> Admins and select ‘create’.

Backup configuration: Go to Dashboard -> System configuration and select the backup icon.

Upload the backup configuration along with the user credentials created in the previous step.

 

  1. Collect audit logs (preferably from the last 7 days), export them to a CSV file, and attach the CSV to the ticket notes.
