Description

This article describes how to backup FortiNDR configuration to remote storage server.

Scope

FortiNDR v7.2.

Solution

1) Run the CLI command below to backup the FortiNDR configuration file to the remote storage server:


execute backup config {disk|scp|ftp|tftp} <filenmame-to-be-saved> <server>[:ftp port] <user-name> <password>

2) For this example, the FortiNDR configuration file will be backed up to the TFTP server.

3) The CLI command below will be run to backup the FortiNDR configuration file to the TFTP server in the FortiNDR.


exe backup config tftp FNDR.conf <TFTP server IP address>

4) Below is the output which indicated the FortiNDR backup configuration file is successfully sent to TFTP server:

5) Check the FortiNDR configuration file in the TFTP server.
