Description This article explains persistent agent behavior with virtual adapters.
Scope FortiNAC 8.8.x, 9.x.
Solution

By default, FortiNAC ignores virtual adapters reported by the PA.

If the agent reports to FortiNAC that the medium type is virtual, it will be ignored. The PA communication will not be established, and a red X (ethomollari_0-1666863231335.png) will be shown next to sign in under host view.

The host will remain rogue, though PA network tests and general.txt logs will have the successful and expected results.
