Description

This article describes how to solve a polling issue with MDM, when a message similar to the following appears:

'Failure: An unknown error occurred. javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target'.

FortiNAC v8.x.

Solution

Ensure that the entire certificate chain is imported to the FortiNAC's keystore.
