Description This article describes how to determine which VLAN ID has been assigned a host under the Inventory view.
Scope FortiNAC, FortiNAC -F.
Solution

Under Network -> Inventory -> Switch, FortiNAC displays the current VLAN ID of each port.

However, when FortiNAC assigns a VLAN ID to a host via Radius, FortiNAC does not display this VLAN ID under the Current VLAN column.

Since multiple hosts can be connected to a switch port and have different VLAN IDs like IP Phone + PC via Radius, the Current VLAN always represents the untagged VLAN already configured in the switch and learned by FortiNAC via SNMP or CLI depends the device vendor or model.

 

To determine which VLAN ID has been assigned to a host via Radius, the Access Value that is in the adaptor window under the ports should be reviewed as shown below:
