The following error is presented:

Failed to read from Auto-Definition Directory. - PKIX path validation failed: java.security.cert.CertPathValidatorException: validity check failed

Occurs when using HTTPS protocol.

Scope

Versions 8.x and 9.x.

Solution

Change host value from 'update.bradfordnetworks.com' to 'fnac-updates.fortinet.net'.
