Description

This article describes about vendor OUIs, how it is updated, and whether or not it can be copied to another appliance.

There are two methods used to add vendor OUIs to the appliance:

- Auto-Definition updates -  For details, see Auto-definition updates in the Administration Guide.

- Manually using the UI - Typically used when an OUI is not yet included in the Auto-Definition updates.

For details, see Vendor OUIs in the Administration Guide.

Since the OUIs are written to the database, it is copied to the Secondary Server in High Availability configurations.

There is no function to automatically copy the Vendor OUIs from one autonomous appliance to another.

Scope Version: 8.x, 9.x
Solution

Contact Support for assistance if copying the OUIs to another appliance is required.
