Description This article describes how to find the SSH account on Extreme CloudIQ needed for Integration with FortiNAC.
Scope FortiNAC 9.2 and above.
Solution FortiNAC requires SSH credentials to read the SSIDs configured on Extreme CloudIQ (XIQ) managing Aerohive access points.

From the main Extreme CloudIQ Dashboard, select 'Global Settings' in the upper-right corner.

From the Global Settings Menu, navigate to Administration -> Device Management Settings, and check the 'Show Password' option. This will reveal the password that is currently configured to allow SSH access to all XIQ APs (see below):

The default username is 'admin'.

Test SSH from FortiNAC to the Aerohive Access Point:

The user CLI prompt must end with '#' after authentication (for example: AP-01#), as FortiNAC will otherwise not be able to communicate with the device.
