Description

 

This article describes how to stop receiving the 'Operating System Update Status Failure' alarm if that happens after migrating from FortiNAC(CentOS) to FortiNAC-F(FortiNAC-OS).

 

Scope

 

FortiNAC-F.

 

Solution

 

Suppose a user migrates from CentOS to FortiNAC-OS and receives an 'Operating System Update Status Failure' alarm. It is required that it be removed from the schedule as it will no longer be needed:

 

  • Go to Logs -> Events and Alarms -> Mappings, select the 'Operating System Status Check Failure' event, 'right-click' and disable it.

  • Go to System -> Scheduler, select the activity named 'Operating System Update Status Failure', 'right-click' and disable.
  •  Once these changes are made, the 'Operating System Update Status Failure' alarm should no longer be received.
