Technical Tip: FortiMonitor Fabric Connection Pre-requisite

Description	This article describes the Pre-requisite settings to be checked on FortiGate.
Scope	FortiMonitor, Fabric, Network Device.
Solution	- Security Fabric needs to be enabled on the interfacewhere it will be connected, in most cases, it would be WAN. To view the interface, go to  Network -> Interface. - Verify the administrator profile - As per the documentation, it is necessary to have the below settings of the administrator profile: To view the profile created already or to create a new one, go to System -> Admin Profile, create new or view the existing one. - When creating Fabric connections 2 important aspect needs to be considered. 1) FortiAnalyzer needs to be enabled (it can either be cloud or the actual FortiAnalyzer customer has). 2) Allow downstream device REST API access needs to be enabled. This will help us connect to the downstream device connected to the FortiGate.
