Description
This article describes how to troubleshoot an issue where the user is unable to import a policy package due to the error 'Device mapping:: "query failed"'. Most of the time, this issue occurs when importing a large amount of policies into FortiManager.

FortiManager VMs.
Solution
In cases where a large amount of policies are being imported to the FortiManager database, it will use up the resources. To mitigate this issue, make sure to meet the minimum requirements for each of the platforms:
- VMware ESXi minimum requirements.
- Microsoft Hyper-V minimum requirements.
- Xen minimum requirements.
- KVM minimum requirements.
- Nutanix minimum requirements.
