Description

 

This article describes how to delete a VPN Manager Community when the error message 'used' prevents deletion.

 

Scope

 

Any supported version of FortiManager.

 

Solution

 

In this example, attempting to delete the 'ACME' community returns the following error message:

To delete the community, follow the steps below:

 

1) Delete all nodes inside of the community:

2) Delete policies where the normalized interfaces of the community are used. In this example: vpnmgr_ACME_hub2spoke, vpnmgr_ACME_mesh, and vpnmgr_ACME_spoke2hub. Identify the policyes by right-clicking the normalized interfaces and selecting 'Where Used':
